Maxwell GeoSystems check that legitimate interests is the most lawful basis for processing of information. The company uses a layered privacy notice/policy placing the most important information upfront and then there is a more detailed Privacy Policy underneath it. Maxwell GeoSystems ensure individuals are well informed of what is planned to do with the data when it is collected. All individuals are given the option to refuse marketing. It is explicitly stated and it’s easy to exercise that right at any time. Maxwell GeoSystems collect the minimum data necessary and delete records after use. The Company will keep personal data on record depending on the primary purpose/s it is maintained for. Individuals have the right to register complaints to the National Data Protection authority, which in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK. The Company will advise an Individual if a statutory or contractual law requires an Individual’s personal data.

In certain circumstances the Company may buy third party data. Maxwell GeoSystems will ensure the personal data it uses for marketing is compliant.

Maxwell GeoSystems may evaluate personal data so it can make predictions about an Individual or Group. Marketing communications can then be targeted and personalised for Individuals or Groups. The Company carries out a range of Sales & Marketing activities on an on-going basis. Activities include: Marketing mailings, Media Releases, Announcements, Website news and MGS postings third-parties such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, MailChimp, CRM-provider, Digital Marketing agency and Google My Business.

The Company will demonstrate it has clearly and specifically informed Individuals what is does with their data and why. The Company will reconnect with Individuals on its database using direct mail. Consent will be renewed at least every two years once contact with Individuals is established.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Maxwell GeoSystems may change its Privacy Policy from time to time,and in Maxwell GeoSystems’ sole discretion.
